Porto Cervo, Costa Smeralda is the most prestigious yacht port in the Mediterranean — established in 1963 by the Aga Khan as the centerpiece of the Costa Smeralda development. The marina hosts 700+ berths up to 80 metres LOA, with the most exclusive cluster being the 'YCCS' (Yacht Club Costa Smeralda) inner basin reserved for member yachts and event vessels.

Yacht broker activity centers on the Costa Smeralda boutiques and the broker offices along Piazzetta del Sole. Cruising context. From Porto Cervo, the natural cruise arc covers the La Maddalena archipelago to the north (UNESCO biosphere, 60+ islands, protected anchorages), Capo Caccia and Alghero to the west, the Bocche di Bonifacio strait to Corsica (5 nm), and the wider Tyrrhenian (Argentario, Pontine, Capri) for longer cruises. Peak berthing rates apply mid-June through September; shoulder seasons offer the same waters at one-third the price.
