Our journey
A founding story from the sea.
Founded in 2003, NewSail is the brainchild of a serendipitous encounter at sea that brought together two passionate individuals with a shared love for the nautical world. Alessandro, an acclaimed sailor known for his achievements in the IOR Sailing Regatta class and the skipper of the “Adelante” — a 45-foot sloop — has navigated the Mediterranean for decades, turning charterers into friends. Alongside him, Fabrizio brought a flair for events and communication, and the company began.
A note from Alessandro
My name is Alessandro and I am at the helm here at NewSail — a dream come true in 2003. As a proud Italian with the sea in my veins, I have had the joy of steering this ship, bringing together the worlds of luxury sailing and sincere camaraderie.
My days are intertwined with the blue threads of the Mediterranean — creating unforgettable experiences on board. From selecting the best vessels for sale and charter to ensuring your time with us is as exhilarating as it is peaceful, I am here to make sure your adventure is nothing short of legendary.
My role goes beyond simple navigation and negotiation: I am also your first mate in creating lifelong memories, your guide in discovering the hidden gems of the Mediterranean, and a sea-loving companion eager to share the magic of sailing.
