Common questions
The numbers, the crew, the calendar.
- How much can my yacht earn in Mediterranean charter?
- A well-maintained 18–24m motor yacht with a competent crew typically grosses €120,000–€350,000 per season (May–October), depending on cruising area, condition, and rate positioning. Sailing yachts and catamarans run different economics — we model both before committing.
- Do I lose use of my yacht?
- No. Owner blocks are part of every management agreement. You decide the weeks you keep, we work the calendar around them.
- Who handles the crew?
- We do. From recruitment and reference-checking through STCW compliance, contracts, payroll and rotation management. The owner approves the captain and chief stew; we handle the rest.
- What about VAT and commercial registration?
- Commercial charter requires a commercial-coded vessel (typically MCA or Italian commercial registration) and a charter-broker network. We manage the paperwork and coordinate with the maritime lawyer of your choice.
- What is your management fee?
- A retainer plus a percentage of gross charter revenue. The blend is structured to align our incentives with revenue and yacht condition. We provide a quote after a yard survey and revenue model.
