Palma de Mallorca is the operational hub of the western Mediterranean superyacht industry — Marina Port de Mallorca (1,000+ berths to 80m), STP Shipyards Palma (the Mediterranean's largest refit facility), and Marina Port Adriano (Philippe Starck-designed, focus on 25-50m segment). The city hosts the Palma International Boat Show (May annually) and is base for many of the major broker, refit, and crew agencies operating in the Med.
